Two brothers from different mothers: our story so far

Welcome to our web thing. Scott Bishop and Mike Pierich are both certified Soul Realignment practitioners, healers, intuitives, and spiritual counselors. We work together to provide help to people in need of advice and direction in their physical and spiritual lives in the best possible way. In addition to our ongoing individual practices (The Soul Approach and The Healed Spirit), we’re going to be offering a wide variety of services together, like jointly-hosted teleclasses and allowing clients to sample our services a la carte. We think this is going to more than double our ability to serve you on your spiritual path and in your physical life – in our case, the partnership is definitely more than the sum of the parts.

We also will soon be offering a weekly broadcast on Blogtalk radio where we’ll be having some fun – if you take your spirituality very seriously, this definitely won’t be the show for you! We’ll be pointing out some of the interesting phenomena in the modern “New Age” movement, including the fact that it’s become just another religion for a lot of people. There will be awful jokes, offensive stereotypes, very likely a good bit of coarse language…and as much honesty and authenticity as you can stand. Be forewarned!

How we got together…

We first met back when we were both still taking advanced training to hone our skills and build our practices. We synchronistically wound up in several classes and mastermind groups together, and hit it off right away. Of course, it didn’t hurt that we were the only men in a sea of ladies, which provided a basic commonality that tended to quickly bring us together all by itself. Not that we don’t appreciate the fairer sex (boy, do we appreciate them!); but, political correctness aside, our outlooks and life experiences just made for a smoother line of communication between the two of us.

As time went on and we got to know one another better, we discovered that our lives had many parallels…and some very useful differences. We both are no-b.s. kinds of guys. We each grew up in lower middle-class families; Scott in the 60′s and 70′s, Mike in the 50′s and 60′s (as of this writing, Michael is 60 years old and Scott is 48). So, given our backgrounds we had a lot of cultural stuff in common, but with slightly different perspectives.

Scott has done everything from baling hay to working as a bank vice president; Michael has had icicles hanging off his beard working on frozen construction sites, and been an inspector and contract administrator for engineering firms. But for us (and hopefully to your benefit), the partnership is the thing.

Past-life capers…

Eventually we decided to use our skills for our own mutual benefit. Funny how it’s tough for intuitives, therapists and counselors to do their own work – it would be like a dentist trying to pull his own teeth! Possible, but not really easy or practical. As we recall, it was Michael who suggested doing some readings around our budding partnership…so Scott wound up doing the work. (Actually Mike outweighs Scott by, umm…a lot – so Scott had little choice in the matter.) What we found wasn’t really unexpected, considering how well we get along. But it was extremely interesting.

Scott performed a Relationship Reading (both Scott and Mike provide them), which compares two souls’ Akashic Records and looks for compatibility, shared past-life experiences, and negativities that could serve to interfere. It is basic that pretty much any individual that you share experiences with in this life is a soul with whom you have an agreement to work together on your mutual spiritual evolution. It is also common for you to have shared past-life experiences with the other soul.

Normally there is some clearing work to be done around these blocks and restrictions. We were surprised and encouraged to find that there were none of these hindrances between us – not a single one. Furthermore, we discovered that our partnership is 80% – 85% aligned with each of our Highest Path and Purpose. This is a good thing. We had obviously chosen well when we agreed, before this incarnation, to work together.

We learned that we’d shared 7 lifetimes together (counting this one); some as business partners, some as friends, and several as physical brothers. Actually, in one of those particular lifetimes we’d been hell-raisers (think drunken, Medieval Dukes of Hazzard boys) and had met an unfortunate end together. In fact Mike’s theory is that we didn’t come together until late in life this time around so that we’d have accumulated enough common sense and life experience to keep us out of trouble!

Since gathering that first bit of information about our combined experiences, we have learned that in past incarnations Scott has trained as a shamanic healer, monk and warrior; Michael has developed his second sight with an eye toward spiritual teaching, future events, and the relationships between people, people and their money, and social and financial movements. We figure that together, we have things well-covered.
